Going Into ‘The Big School’

Next year the current Pre-Primary children will be going out into the big school. To help with their move to Year 1, from tomorrow, Year 4’s will be taking the pre-primary children out at recess and lunch time so they can explore the big school with expert guides!

The year 4’s are very excited about this event and also the pre-primary children are really excited, so watch out for the little kids and be nice to the new Year 1’s!

We wish them good luck in year 1.

NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO:

School work, homework, tests, leaving teachers, relief teachers, getting red stamps, THE TALK!!!!!!!!! And leaving school.

We wish the new batch of Year 6’s a good year and we all hope that they get through the year safely.  GOOD LUCK.

Year 6’s Assembly

Well the year has gone by in a breeze and it’s just about the end of the year. The year 6’s have just done their assembly and what an assembly it was! It was based on the popular TV show ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ with Lockie as Kyle Sand-in-my-pants, Sophie as Danni-Pickmynose, Georgia as Smell_sogoodrem and Aaron as Bryan Mcfarten. It was hosted by Wian as Mr O’Neil, Emily as Princess Adisson and Nick as Miss Flynn. Each person had an act to perform on the morning and so they rolled through the script with lots of laughs and some tears. But when they sang their final song, ‘Do I Make You Proud?’ the parents really cried (Mrs Cairns and Mrs Brechany also cried, though we have yet to determine whether they were tears of saddness or joy?!). So another year has passed and the Year Sixes are really sad to leave and just wish all the Year Fives the best of luck for next year.
